Winnie Young

Former Miss Hong Kong (1995), actress, and founder of Discovery Learning Academy. She is well known during her 15 year career as a television presenter and often conducts parenting and reading seminars for parents. As an ambassador for HeroesToo’s Sustainable Bus Shelter Design Competition and current role on the HeroesToo advisory board, Ms. Young has been instrumental in the development of HeroesToo. Ms. Young is also deeply involved in numerous other charities besides HeroesToo including Bring Me a Book Hong Kong, Women Helping Women, Benji’s Centre and is a past president of Wai Yin Association.

Ms Kandy Wong

Singer and lyricist for the Hong Kong based band “Sugar Club”, Ms. Wong is also known as the Hong Kong Ambassador for the French cosmetics brand Garnier and as World Wildlife Fund’s (WWF) “One Earth Mission” Ambassador for Earth Hour in 2014 and Green Peace for Hong Kong. Ms. Wong starred in a HeroesToo short film for the Green Come True Campaign which promoted the use of a stainless steel and reusable “message bottle” in order to reduce the consumption of plastic bottles and pollution in the world’s ocean.

Hong Kong based pop singer, writer and pianist, Kellyjackie is best known for her song “He invites me to Disneyland” She was later invited to perform at the grand opening of Hong Kong Disneyland and the song was published in theHong Kong Disneyland -The Grand Opening Celebration Album.

JuJu Chan

Hong Kong born American actress, model, singer, Taekwondo-Do Athlete and Kung Fu star, Ms. Chan was also the winner of the Miss Chinatown 2009 pageant in San Francisco and participated in the United Nations International Pageant. In 2010 Juju became the first of the HeroesToo Goodwill Ambassadors and during her time with HeroesToo, Ms. Chan was heavily involved in our early environmental, education and community projects such as the reforestation project in which she helped plant 21,500 saplings of 59 different species.

HeroesToo Ambassador Johnny Ko

Johnny Ko

Johnny is a freelance translator, writer and actor who plays an active role both in front and behind the camera, as well as across different media outlets. On the creative front, he was one of the main contributors of RTHK’s “English Made Easy” and “Chinese Made Efficient” series, providing programme content and writing the shows’ weekly newspaper columns. Meanwhile, his translation work can be seen in various publications by the Hong Kong Film Archive and Joint Publishing, along with the magazine a.m. post. As for on-screen appearances, he is a frequent presenter on ETV and has also been featured in a few advertisements and promotional videos. In his downtime, he enjoys watching movies, listening to music, swimming, yoga, and cooking.

Having grown up in New Zealand, Johnny especially appreciates the wonders of nature and is an avid animal lover. With green living being a part of his life since childhood, he became a Heroes Too ambassador in hopes of helping spread the eco message, so that more people may play a part in protecting our planet and discontinue the adoption of environmentally unfriendly practices.

HeroesToo Star Ambassador Monique Sou

Monique Tsang

Moni is a Hong Kong photographer and magazine model. In 2010, she joined HeroesToo Foundation as one of the HeroesToo Stars. Moni has not only supported numerous HeroesToo programs and events in front the camera, but has also become the organisation’s photographer for most of its recent events. Now she is managing her own photography studio “Muddle Concept”.

Moni enjoys DIY projects and has many ideas to save money while still creating one-of-a-kind photographic displays. She is passionate about minimising waste in her projects as well as decorating without harsh chemicals. She hopes eventually through her work and that of HeroesToo to create a more beautiful planet.

HeroesToo Ambassador Ms Judy Yiu 853x968

Judy Yiu

Judy Yiu is an international dance artist from Hong Kong. She received her Master of Fine Arts in Dance at Hollins University in 2015, with the full scholarship supported by Hong Kong Jockey Club Music and Dance Fund. As a choreographer, performer, cinematographer, video editor, and installation designer in her film Place in Motion, she investigated the relationship between the nature and city, by filming and research from sixteen countries and fifty-five cities since 2011. The film was selected into American Dance Festival’s International Screendance Festival 2015 and Detroit Dance City Festival 2015. Judy took part in and became one of the winners of the HeroesToo Environmental Superstars Contest in 2010, winning awards for The Best Talent, The Best Image as well as a one year contract as a host for HeroesToo TV. She will continue to spread the words of sustainable development between the nature and city through artistic work.

Kathie Lo Profile Photo

Kathie Lo

Kathie is a DJ who enjoys performance art, drama, and fashion. She currently hosts programmes about music, as well as culture and art, targeted at teenagers, including “8910 Good Morning”, “書得喜”, “校園好聲音”, “唱出真我”, “音樂人生”,  and “姿色分子” at DBC.  She has also gained extensive experience as an emcee after becoming a finalist in the RoadShow Anchor Competition and winning the “Best Performance Award” at the C2 MC Competition in 2012.

She took part in and became one of the winners of the HeroesToo Environmental Superstars Contest in 2010. As an ambassador of the organisation, she hopes to continue spreading positive messages and encouraging everyone to do more to protect the earth.
